an owner walked through the door with his two turtles stuck together in a carrier. the man was obviously in distress about his turtles well being and was desperate for help.
apparently, the male turtle was trying to breed the female turtle and lost his balance, falling onto his back. when he fell onto his back, which scared the female and she shut her shell. unfortunately when she did that, the male's legs were trapped in her shell. so the morning was spent trying to get the female to open her shell up. when she finally did, we got the male out and took x-rays of his legs. they were broken, so he now has little casts on his back legs.

hey hey, i'm kirk, though i've never really felt like much of a kirk. i almost feel like my parents were running seriously low on juice by the time they got to me (i'm the eighth born), and kind of just picked up a baby names book and pointed randomly. nothing against other kirks of the world, it just doesn't fit, i don't think. but then again, i've never went by my middle name or a nick name, either. so maybe it fits more than i think? but on the subject of names......what's yours? do you like it? does it suit you? let's be friends.
